Hello, Baby Hannah!!
On Sunday your Mommy and Daddy were over for dinner. Your Mommy and Daddy come almost every Sunday for dinner. They started doing that when your Mommy moved here from Texas after she married your Daddy. It has been special to have that time to get to know your Mommy better and to spend time together. Your Aunts and Uncles that don't live here at Grandma's anymore come for dinner on Sundays sometimes too. What fun we have eating and visiting with each other. My favorite Sundays are when we pray together as a family after we are done eating the meal. We all sit at the table together and take turns praying. It is Grandma's favorite thing of all time!
A funny thing that happens when we are praying is that our dog, Daisy, almost always starts to eat her dogfood. We are all very quiet and one person is praying and then we hear "crunch, crunch, crunch". We all noticed that she does this when we start praying. One time when she started "crunching" we all burst out laughing in the middle of the prayer. I think God laughed too. We finished praying, but it was so funny when it happened!
This Sunday your Auntie Laura Beth mentioned fruit cobblers. Your Mommy heard that and that started a craving for her. She thought and thought about fruit cobbler. The more she thought about it the more she wanted some. (You see your Mommy hasn't felt so good and food hasn't been much fun right now.) But fruit cobbler sounded so good to your Mommy. So about 8:00 when your Mommy and Daddy are usually on their way home already, your Mommy asked your Daddy if he would make her some fruit cobbler. : ) The whole family got up to make her some fruit cobbler! It was Grandma, Daddy, Laura Beth, Grandpa Doug, and Kari. Kari and your Mommy went to get ice cream (and got it for free to boot!) and the rest of us made your Mommy some cobbler. At 9:00 or so it was done and your Mommy had her blueberry/raspberry fruit cobbler with free ice cream on top! She said "Mmmmmmm, Mmmmmm!" Maybe someday you can ask Grandma, Grandpa Doug, Daddy, Kari and Laura Beth to make you fruit cobbler. I bet we would! Because you are special to us just like your Mommy is!!
I love you so much Baby Hannah. I think of you every day and pray for you. We are going to have such fun times when you arrive.
Love you!
Grandma
